USDA - Farm Services Administration
An offspring of the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP), CREP is a voluntary program for agricultural landowners. Unique state and federal partnerships allow you to receive incentive payments for installing specific conservation practices. Through the CREP, farmers can receive annual rental payments and cost-share assistance to establish long-term, resource conserving covers on eligible land.
USDA -Natural Rescources Conservation Service
The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) was reauthorized in the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 (Farm Bill) to provide a voluntary conservation program for farmers and ranchers that promotes agricultural production and environmental quality as compatible national goals. EQIP offers financial and technical help to assist eligible participants install or implement structural and management practices on eligible agricultural land.

Farmers, Ranchers, and other conservation-minded agricultural producers, rely on NRCS for assistance through conservation programs and technical information to help them protect the natural resources on their land. Your local USDA Service Center can help you plan and install the best conservation practices for your land. Ag producers also work with our partners, locally led Conservation Districts, who strive to increase voluntary conservation practices among farmers, ranchers and other land users.
Stewardship Incentive Program (SIP)
USDA - Forest Service
Stewardship Incentive Program (SIP) - The Stewardship Incentive Program provides cost-sharing payments to encourage private landowners to manage forestlands for economic, environmental, and social benefits. SIP is a U.S. Forest Service's program that is administered by the State Forester. FSA's involvement in the SIP is to serve as a public contact point, accept applications, and issue the payments.
Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW)
The Riparian Tax Incentive Program, authorized by ORS 308A.350—308A.383, offers a property tax incentive to property owners for improving or maintaining qualifying riparian lands. Under this program, property owners receive complete property tax exemption for their riparian property. This can include land up to 100 feet from a stream.
Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF)
The Forest Land Enhancement Program was established in the 2002 Farm Bill as a national program with policies collaboratively developed and implemented by the USDA-Forest Service and state foresters. While adhering to national guidelines, participating state forestry organizations work in partnership with their coordination groups to customize the program so that it meets their state's needs.
